Though certainly the most forgettable of the early films in the then-nascent Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Incredible Hulk is not completely without value. A superb cast and robust production values frequently offset the weak script.

The one that started it all, Iron Man remains a breezily entertaining movie today, even if the stakes feel pretty low now compared to what comes later in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Still, as a comic book adaptation and superhero origin story, Iron Man is one of the best movies of its kind.
