Acoustic Sounds 40 Series

To celebrate the success of the Atlantic 75 Series and the 40th anniversary of Acoustic Sounds, additional titles from the vast Warner Music Group catalog have been chosen for the Acoustic Sounds 40 Series, which is essentially a continuation of the Atlantic 75 Series. Unlike the Atlantic 75 Series, which pulled titles only from the Atlantic Records catalog, the Acoustic Sounds 40 Series can source titles from WMG’s other labels like Warner, Elektra, Reprise, Sire, Fueled by Ramen, and Parlophone. Each release is a 2LP (except for one that’s a 3LP set) set cut at 45 RPM. The series began in 2026 and is still ongoing.

Pablo Series

Atlantic 75 Series

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Atlantic Records, Analogue Productions has partnered with Atlantic to release 75 different titles from its vast catalog as 45 RPM double LP sets. (And in the case of one title that was originally a double LP, a quadruple LP edition). The series began in 2023 and is still ongoing.

UHQR Series

RCA Living Stereo Series

50 releases total were reissued by Analogue Productions from this signature classical library, including a initial batch of 25 from 2014 to 2015 and a second batch of 25 from 2018 to 2020. (A separate mini-batch of 12 RCA/Decca Living Stereo titles were released in the interim, as well as 45 RPM editions of four of the most popular titles from the first batch.) A staggering 37 of the 50 33 RPM LPs below make the 2025 Absolute Sound Super Disc List — surely the highest percentage (74%) of a large-scale vinyl reissue series that has ever graced the market. Beginning in 2026, 25 more titles were released as 45 RPM editions.

45 RPM Single-Album Box Sets

Beginning in 2018, Analogue Productions reissued several of its 33 RPM 2LP editions as 4LP or 5LP 45 RPM editions in box set form. The exception is the Starker box set, which never received a 33 RPM release by Analogue Productions; instead, it is only available in 45 RPM form as a 6LP set. The most recent of the box sets (the long-delayed Amused to Death) was released in 2023 with a design to the box that does not match the previous ones. While this series has not been officially discontinued, no additional releases have been announced (likely due to Analogue Productions shifting their emphasis to producing UHQR releases instead).

RCA/Decca Living Stereo Series

Following the success of the initial batch of 25 RCA Living Stereo titles, Analogue Productions reissued 12 RCA/Decca titles from 2016 to 2017. These titles are among the rarest in the RCA library because they were recorded and released under a special arrangement with Decca: the initial pressings were released by RCA under the Living Stereo banner, after which the rights reverted to Decca, which re-released the recordings without the Living Stereo branding.

Given how rare the initial pressings are, it’s not surprising that all 12 of the Analogue Productions reissues in this series make the current TAS Super LP List. Also of note: The Royal Ballet Gala Performances, certainly the crown jewel of this particular series and indeed perhaps also of the entire Living Stereo series, is available as a 5LP 45 RPM box set from Analogue Productions, as well.

Beach Boys Series

In all, Analogue Productions reissued 14 albums from the first decade or so of the Beach Boys’ discography — 10 in both mono and stereo, as well as their debut album Surfin’ Safari in mono only and Sunflower, Surf’s Up, and Holland in stereo only. In addition, three 45 RPM editions were released: mono and stereo editions of Pet Sounds, and a stereo edition of Surfer Girl.

Prestige Series

50 titles from the Prestige catalog, 25 mono and 25 stereo, released in two batches from 2012 to 2017. Each reissue is a 33 RPM single LP pressed at Quality Record Pressings on 200 gram vinyl with a “deep groove.” After going out of print, the entire series was repressed beginning in late 2021 on 180 gram vinyl without the deep groove.

Verve Series

25 titles from the Verve catalog released from 2011 to 2013. Each edition was a 45 RPM double LP pressed at Quality Record Pressings on 200 gram vinyl. Represses of these are currently available, but are now pressed on 180 gram vinyl.

Impulse! Series

25 titles from the Impulse! catalog released from 2009 to 2011. Each edition is a 45 RPM double LP.

Blue Note Series

Fantasy Series

100 titles from the Fantasy catalog, released in four batches of 25 from 2002 to 2010. Each reissue is a 45 RPM double LP pressed at RTI on 180 gram vinyl.

Revival Series

For this series, Analogue Productions licensed titles from the then-Fantasy (now Concord) catalog, mastered them at the then-new AcousTech Mastering facility at RTI, and pressed them at RTI as well. All of these reissues were pressed on 150 gram vinyl and cut at 33 RPM with the exception of the three Art Pepper albums, which each received both a standard 150 gram, 33 RPM pressing and a 180-gram, 45 RPM, 2LP pressing.

Creedence Clearwater Revival – Absolute Originals 45 RPM Box Set

In 2004, Analogue Productions released the Absolute Originals box set, which consisted of all seven of the band’s studio albums at 33 RPM, plus a bonus 12″ 45 RPM record with some additional mixes. In 2007, a 45 RPM version of the Absolute Originals box set was released. Instead of spreading out the albums across two LPs as per usual, the single LP format was retained, with the number of tracks included reduced to the highlights from each album. (The eighth disc, which was a 45 RPM record to begin with, remained the same in the 45 RPM box set version.)

The Doors – Infinite 45 RPM Box Set

Released in 2012, the Infinite box set consisted of all six of the Doors’ albums with Jim Morrison, with each spread across two LPs and cut at 45 RPM by Doug Sax at The Mastering Lab. Each album was also individually released; the individual releases are still in print, but the box set is not.

Note: The Infinite box set as a whole makes The Absolute Sound Super LP List, as well as the individual/non-Infinite editions of The Doors and L.A. Woman
