Make arguably his best LP, Honky Château, a big, emotional album that boasts “Rocket Man” and “Honky Cat,” and fan favorites like “Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters.” A boozy, New Orleans second line vibe permeates the record, which is rife with the stuff that Elton’s biography is built on: feeling like a stranger to everyone (including yourself), how to see your way out of depression, and well, going to space. A masterpiece from start to finish, we’re honored to present this 50th Anniversary edition, AAA remastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound.

The VMP exclusive version of Elton John's Honky Château is pressed on 180 gram Cream in Beige A-Side/B-Side vinyl at GZ Vinyl with (AAA) lacquers cut from the master tapes by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound. The 1LP will arrive in a gatefold, tip-on, foil-stamped jacket.
